Michael Thorpe was born 1932 in England. He came to Canada in 1970 after teaching in Turkey, Nigeria, Singapore, and Holland. Emeritus Professor at Mount Allison University. His poetry collections include Out of the Storm (Penumbra); Bagdad is Everywhere, Loves and The Unpleasant Subject (all TSAR).
This book is typeset in Cochin, printed offset on Rolland Zephyr Antique Laid paper, and folded and gathered to make 48 pages, 15 × 22.5 cm. It is Smyth-sewn, bound between paper covers and enfolded in a letterpress-printed jacket.
