Harry Thurston is the author of several collections of poetry and more than a dozen nonfiction books, including Tidal Life: A Natural History of the Bay of Fundy, winner of three nonfiction prizes in the Atlantic region, and A Place Between the Tides: A Naturalist’s Reflections on the Salt Marsh, which received the 2005 Sigurd Olson Nature Writing Award in the United States. His last book with Thaddeus Holownia was Silver Ghost. A biologist and naturalist, he is among the Atlantic region’s best-known nature writers. He lives in Tidnish Bridge, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia.
This book is typeset in Walbaum, printed offset on HannoArt paper, and folded and gathered to make 36 pages, 20 × 28 cm. It is saddle-stitched and bound between an elegantly printed paper jacket.
